Do we all remember Nickelodeon's "Hey Dude" ?!
Throwback, I know, but in light of its upcoming DVD release (who would've thought), I thought I would do a "Whatever Happened To..." segment featuring the cast of a show that was oh so loved in my childhood.

Christine Taylor |
After playing 'Melody' the lifeguard on the show, she went on to star in both Brady Bunch movies as the perky Marcia Brady. Her familiar face was also seen in numerous sitcoms such as Friends and Seinfeld and she also starred in big screen films such as Zoolander, Tropic Thunder, and Dodgeball alongside her famous hubby Ben Stiller with whom she has two children and probably can never take seriously.

David Brisbin
After playing ranch owner 'Benjamin “Buddy” Ernst', Brisbin popped up in movies such as Forrest Gump and Erin Brockovich, while also making appearances in shows like Home Improvement, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Melrose Place. In '98 he landed the role of Dr. Alexander Babcok on ER and is currently married to Laura Innes, (better known as Dr. Weaver on ER) with two children. |
|
David Lascher |
Formerly known as 'Ted' the mischievous sweetie on the show, Lascher appeared in a number of primetime favorites like, Roseanne, Step by Step (TGIF was the bomb) , and Full House, before landing the roles of Kyle on Beverly Hills 90210, and the failed-wanna-be-replacement- step brother Josh (no one can ever replace Paul Rudd), on Clueless, the TV series. He also played Josh on Sabrina the Teenage Witch. He is currently married to his second wife Jill, and has two children. I smell appearances in Lifetime movies.
|
Joe Torres |
Ah yes, the token wise Native American 'Danny Lightfoot' on the show. After production ended he remained in Arizona to star in a show called
Groove. Bizarre internet rumors swirled around in 2004 that he had died of liver disease due to severe alcoholism, but those have turned out to be false. Supposedly he lives in New Jersey now with the guidos and is a Toyota car salesman. MADE.
|
Kelly Brown |
After leaving her role of 'Bradley Tayor', Kelly pretty much stopped acting altogether, got married, and got pregnant. She now lives in upstate New York with her husband and child and she now looks like a Victorian-esque silhouette as pictured above, yup.
|
Jonathan Galkin
Excuse the blur-rific picture. Once his time playing 'Jake Decker' was up and after a short stint in a disregarded show, Jonathan did not pursue any more acting gigs. Instead, he co-founded a very successful record label DFA Records, home to LCD Soundsystem. Not too bad. He now enjoys Shabbat dinners with his wife and son and anything name brand. |
