As If We All Didn't See This One Coming..

PBS supporters have issued a petition for Sesame Street characters Bert & Ernie to take their relationship to the next level and have an on-air wedding. Many are for the marriage in order to spread overall acceptance to children and others think we should worry about humans getting married before puppets do.

Sesame Street issued a statement that puppets have no sexual orientation and just because Bert & Ernie bathe together does not mean they are gay.
